Leak Detection

Our team is here to help you comply with state and federal regulatory requirements for inspecting transmission/distribution pipelines, gathering lines, storage facilities, and refineries. This includes both DOT/PHMSA regulations and the EPA’s OOOO/OOOOa/b/c requirements. Our aerial inspections are more cost effective than other gas detection methods, incorporating traditional visual ROW inspection capabilities with advanced methane detection methods to locate leaks and identify ROW issues.

Laser - TDLAS

(Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectrometer)

Our Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectrometer (TDLAS) sensor is tuned specifically to absorb methane (CH4), allowing our team to precisely locate leaks. The laser is sensitive to as low as 100ppm-m methane readings. Paired with a high-resolution camera, this system allows our clients to visualize the location of each leak detected. Our solution allows for safe and effective large scale inspections, across facility and pipeline assets.

Optical Gas Imaging
(OGI)

Our Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) sensors utilize thermal imaging to detect and visualize 20 different hydrocarbon gases. Our team performs OGI inspections on linear assets, such as pipelines and gathering lines, as well as storage, compression, and refinery facilities. This technology allows us to quickly and safely detect the exact location of leaks.
